Game Night in Stittsville: How We Keep Evenings Fun at Quitters

Ask anyone who drinks here on a Saturday and they will tell you: the best nights at Quitters are the competitive ones. Trivia starts at 7pm, the questionable music gets louder, and a perfectly friendly room turns gently cutthroat over the final round. Game night is a Stittsville institution, and it comes in more than one flavour.

The main event: Q Trivia

Every Saturday evening from 7pm we run the Q Trivia night: food, drinks, friends, prizes and just the right amount of rowdiness. Space is limited, so reserve your table through our Facebook page. A craft beer from the evening menu in hand is practically part of the rules.

Bring your own competition

Trivia is not the only game in town. On quieter evenings people bring a board game to the patio, settle in with a cheese board, and make their own fun. We have always been that kind of room, dog friendly and in no hurry, as anyone who has read our story already knows.

Keeping the fun going at home

Not every night is a night out, of course. When the game is on and you are watching from the couch, the same competitive streak finds other outlets. Some people run a fantasy league, some play cards, and others follow the action and the odds online through a sports betting and casino platform like Betpas. Whatever your version of game night looks like, a couple of sensible habits keep it enjoyable: set a time, set a budget, and treat it as entertainment rather than a plan.
